Yellow for Spring

Today the sun is shining and I’m feeling optimistic about Spring. I always feel this way after the Half Term school break. The mornings are lighter and the evenings too.

With only a month to go before the clocks go back it’s time to think about packing away the Winter wardrobe and digging out the sandals and kaftans.

But, what to wear in-between?

If, like me you’ve been wearing 70 denier tights, wooly dresses and jeans and jumpers all Winter you’ll need some inspiration.

Today, I’ve decided to be brave. I’m going sleeveless. That’s not to say I won’t be wearing a cardigan and jacket, I will, but I am braving the shops in a dress which ‘can get away’ with being Winter or Summer dependent on how you accessorise it.

This is my #ootd – I’m wearing #McQ from a few seasons ago. It’s a beautiful black, yellow, lime-green and taupe dragonfly print. It has a round neck, fitted top and an A-line skirt with peplum side details.

Being old it’s obviously sold out (sorry!). But if you’re looking for inspiration on what to wear this sunny, almost Spring morning, here’s my picks.
