My Favourite #ootd #outfits This Week (28th April 2017)

I’m just back from 18 days in Myanmar and having worn kaftans, shorts and bikinis for the entire trip I’m not exactly ecstatic to be back in winter woollies – not that I’m not happy to return to my Christopher Kane challenge – I am.

If you’ve not followed my blog/Instagram feed, I decided back in early March to show my support of British designers and wear only Christopher Kane for 30 consecutive days. I was hoping that he would like my posts and he did, every single day.

I got to day 30 easily. I have to be honest, I didn’t actually realise I owned so many of his beautiful pieces but since I have plenty of outfits left over I’ve decided to continue until I run out, probably in about 18 days time.

Anyway, if you ever have a retrospective Christopher and you need to borrow some items from your back catalogue that are missing please feel free to contact me. I won’t ever be sending these away to Vestaire; I hope that my daughter and possibly granddaughter will be enjoying them for centuries to come.

Anyhow, since winter is back and the temperatures are arctic – not to mention I have a severe case of holiday blues I seem to have spent the majority of the week in black. Some of the items I’ve worn this week date back to 2010 – but in my opinion they are still as on trend as much today as when I bought them almost a decade ago.

My favourite pieces from this week are, clockwise from top left:

Menswear Frankenstein Hoodie – SS13

Lace, leather and sweatshirt material dress – Pre Fall 15

Black crepe dress with grey chiffon snakeskin print panels – Pre Fall 14

Black leather jewelled skirt – AW10 with black top – SS15

Snakeskin texture and print dress – Pre Fall 14

Chinese dragon t-shirt – SS 11 and silk chiffon skirt – SS 15
